Throughout Steve’s career, volunteer involvement with D89, and personal pursuits, he has honed specific and measurable skills that will ensure that your voice will be an active part of the conversation.

Career:

Steve has created corporate strategies, negotiated policy, and oversaw operations execution within massive (and let’s be honest, often very bureaucratic) organizations such as NASA, the Department of Defense, and Boeing to be innovative and strategic, to trim the fat, operate more efficiently, and become better stewards of taxpayer dollars.

Community:

Steve has given countless hours of volunteer time to bettering his local community, first and foremost within D89. These leadership roles include the following:

• D89 School Board Member (2021 to present)

• Village of Glen Ellyn Capital Improvements Commission (2019 to 2022)

• D89 Citizens Advisory Council (2017-2019)

• D89 Finance Committee (2017-18)

• D89 Community Engagement Committee (2018)

• Park View Watchdog Dad (2016 to present)

By serving on the School Board, Steve commits to being a strong liaison and advocate for community members, continuing the tradition of transparency and fiscal responsibility in D89.
